B is Five!

Its hard to believe my little boy is already five! We celebrated this milestone with a hot wheels inspired birthday party. For weeks before Beniah helped me decide on decorations and games to play. He was very involved in the planning of his party and it was a lot of fun to see him desire to be a good host to his friends.

Beniah came up with this craft project

Pinata time! H was super excited~

The fun did not end after the pinata (though my camera battery did). Beniah had a blast opening all his presents and we closed the night out with a LePeau style dance party. Once we got B tucked into bed he came down the stairs and stuck his head over the hand rail. "Mommy, I think next time my party should be a daytime party, not a nighttime party because after opening my presents I want to play with them and I can't play with my presents until tomorrow." Good point B. Already planning ahead for next year!
