the lions den

the lions den was established to keep people posted on major events happening in our life and to keep a family history, an online scrap book of sorts. we understand our shortcomings in keeping up with family and friends across the country, so this is our attempt to put the ball in your court. the inspiration for the lions den came from our kids beniah and haneul, we want to be able to share their exciting developments with people who want to know. enjoy.

december 7, 2010: first homestudy meeting

february 15, 2011: completed individual homestudy interviews

may 2011: homestudy approved by holt international

june 2011: homestudy sent to Korea

july 2011: matched with a child

october 2011: adoption finalization deferred to 2012

october 2011: i-600 sent to korea

october 2011: legals recieved

march 2012: homestudy update complete

march 27, 2012: i600 sent into uscis

april 2, 2012: request for more info from uscis

june 20, 2012: ep submitted

june 21, 2012: visa physical

july 7, 2012: ep approved

july 18, 2012: request for more info from uscis completed

aug. 21, 2012: travel to korea

aug. 24, 2012: meet our daughter

july 29, 2013: finalization
